At Brighton Pilates we want you to know firstly, Pilates is a workout. Ellie, the founder of Brighton Pilates' mission is to spread the love for the true Pilates method. Ellie is a Classically trained Pilates instructor and Brighton Pilates is the only Classical fully Gratz equipped studio in Brighton. It is a little hidden gem for any Pilates enthusiast. At Brighton Pilates we encourage all our members to try to experience a classical studio session so that you can understand where The Method originates.
In your bespoke tailor made session learn to smoothly ride through the classical series, using springs for resistance to strengthen and lengthen your muscles. Did you know 98% of clients who have tried the classical studio sessions (some of which were only coming for a 'try') have re-booked and come back for more…
Brighton Pilates doesn't stop there. Whilst it's important you have an understanding of Joseph Pilates' true method we also appreciate that there are other fabulous training methods out there and financially it is not viable for everyone to have 1:1 sessions. Cue: HIT Pilates, TRX Pilates and our contemporary style Pilates classes.
HIT training is scientifically proven to be a fantastic training method. Quick bursts of high intensity exercise is amazing for fat burning, toning and visible results. Add Pilates segments a motivating playlist and the best beach front studio in Brighton and you have the recipe for the fitness class that everyone is talking about!
TRX is a suspension method, where you can take your workouts anywhere. Use the TRX to increase intensity, aid stretching and tone the body from top to toe. Currently only available in 1:1/small group private sessions.
Contemporary Pilates is a wonderful flowing Pilates class that incorporate small equipment such as bands and balls whilst still keeping true to the ever important Pilates principles. Flow through the classical Pilates exercises into more modern movements. You will leave this class having worked hard but feeling stretched, calm and free.
